Chasing the Wind: The 9th Aegean Link Regatta Completed

The 9th Aegean Link Regatta, organized in collaboration with EAYK (Aegean Offshore Yacht Club) and IC Cesme Marina, took place from August 26–31, 2025.

The event began with a vibrant opening reception held at GoBo by Niyazi. Approximately 250 guests attended the event, where race teams, local officials, and members of the press gathered in a delightful atmosphere accompanied by a DJ performance.

During the five-day race, sailors battled strong winds in the challenging waters of Cesme. Team Linea Rossa won the overall championship, while Beymetal Team LR-TOK Sailing, Ladies First, Minni, Jumbo Jet, Down, Duygu 7, and Yelken İzmir were among the teams that won in various categories.

The regatta concluded with a closing ceremony, also held at GoBo by Niyazi. Approximately 300 guests attended the ceremony, where awards were presented, and music and celebrations were enjoyed. Cesme District Governor Mehmet Maraşlı also attended the event.
