The last race of the year organized by EAYK – Çeşme Marina was held at Çeşme Marina under the name of “Eayk-Çeşme Marina Year-End Cup”.
4 Support boats and 18 IRC class boats competed in the races held on December 18 -19. On the first day of the race, due to the wind intensity of 25 knots, the boats met at the start line early and completed their races when the weather conditions were favorable. The competitors who completed the day by doing a single race due to adverse weather conditions came together by Decking out the fatigue of the day at the cocktail party held at Cesme Marina Kepler Marin.
THE SECOND DAY STARTED WITH POSTPONEMENT ON LAND
After the briefing, which took place at 10:00 in the morning on the second day of the race, the referee board decided to postpone the race on land due to adverse wind and sea conditions. After a few hours of waiting, with the wind condition reaching 41 knots, the race was abandoned before going to sea.
